Janine Van Der Merwe
Janine Van Der Merwe was born in 1973, in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, of Dutch, Scottish, German-Slavic origins. She currently lives in Friuli, a multi-ethnic region, like her origins, and is the mother of three children.
Independent researcher of the deep Self, facilitator and trainer in Family Constellations and resolution of traumas with body release. Since 2010 she has led systemic work groups with a methodology in continuous evolution. In 2012 he founded the association La Via dell’Albero, whose aim was to promote energetic, naturopathic and eco-sustainable techniques and methodologies, where the growth and awareness acquired by each individual could contribute to the evolution of the community and to the evolution of the latter in relation to its own territory and to the Earth.
The experience has allowed her to integrate in her work, a deep rootedness and to contact the resource of her multi-ethnic, African and Nordic origins, a union of two opposite worlds. Since 2016 she has held training courses for operators in all sectors, helping them to get in touch with the traumas stratified in the pre-cognitive period at an experiential level. With her first book “L’uomo e la donna naturali” published by BioGuida Edizioni in 2018, she brought to consciousness in her work, the intuition on the effects of the adrenal uterus, of the transgenerational fear now fixed in the body of women, in the development of the embryo and consequently in the individual, recognizing the bases of the fragmentation of the Self and at a collective level, of a neurotic and alienated society. Shortly after a year she published “La chiave del Tempo”, a further development of the previous book, connecting the distorted and accelerated perception of time precisely as a consequence of the adrenal uterus; a collective of individuals who flee from an enemy that is not real but present in the cell, already in the gestational memory, the adrenal attack. In 2021, the third book “Il bianco e il nero: la vita sta nel mezzo” was released, also published by BioGuida Edizioni. An essay focused on gestation and birth, a simple and powerful text, on the rediscovery of the fundamental role in human evolution, of the sacredness of the passages, birth. From all this, “Rappresentazioni sistemiche Metodo Jan” was born, because we are no longer talking about family constellations but about epigenetics applied to systemic representation, being able to work on cellular memory, in gestational and birth blocks. The etymological root of Jan comes from the native Sanskrit language, from which our Indo-European languages originate and means “The creative spirit that is born from the Waters”.
When society is pathological, we must imagine it as a sick tree that must be cut down, to allow us to start again from the deep roots, and our body remembers what these roots are still present in our archaic memory, in connection with the preservation of the species. From there we need to start again. He is currently working on his next book.

Training
My primary training comes from the systemic family constellations of Bert Hellinger, trained with Marco Massignan and Elena Dell’Orto They have integrated the resolution of traumas with body release into the work of the constellations, taking up the Trauma Working and the Somatic Experience of Peter Levine.
Having discovered this method, I immediately recognized and felt the great potential of this tool, having myself a great ability to recognize a trauma and its location as soon as I come into contact with the person.
I have almost fifteen years of experience in leading groups and have been offering training courses for about eight years.
There is no doubt that the integration of my multi-ethnic origins has become my great resource in welcoming traumas and experiences from all over the world.
My travels in Africa and having worked for working groups formed by individuals from many foreign countries such as India, Myanmar, Burkina Faso, Togo, Ivory Coast, Bolivia, etc… have given me, both on a human and anthropological level, a culture rich in experience on various forms of trauma, even very serious ones
The facilitator is the one who is able to be a container of experience. And that is why I also felt the innate inner movement to integrate training with Michel Odent, surgeon and obstetrician, pioneer of physiological birth and Ruth Ehrardht, traditional South African midwife.
